Iron Station – Janice Banks Wooten, 70 passed away peacefully on August 18, 2018 at her residence with her loving husband by her side.
She was born in Gaston County on December 26, 1947 to the late John W Banks, Sr. and Lorenia West Banks.
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be greatly missed! She was a member of Lincolnton Church of God for over 28 years. She also enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memories includes her husband of 49 years, Larry Wooten; her son Greg (Kara) Wooten and their children, Haydn and Haylee, her daughter, Charity (Jay) Buinicky and their children, A.J., Christian and Brenna.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Saturday prior to the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 25th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Dr. Richard King, Sr. and Pastor D.R. Shortridge officiating.
