Alexis- Jane Quinn Robinson, 66, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, January 20, 2011 at her residence.
She was a native of Anderson County,SC born July 16, 1944 to Margaret Washington Quinn and the late Dewey Quinn.
Jane was a member of Community Baptist Church. She worked for the Gaston County School System with over 20 years of service. She also worked for State Probation in Gaston County. She was a graduate of Newberry College, SC. Jane was a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her father Dewey Quinn and a sister, Nancy Yvonne Quinn
Survivors include her sons, Bryan Robinson and wife Marsha of Alexis, Kyle Robinson of Alexis and a daughter Leah Robinson Grant and husband Jason of Stanley
Her mother Margaret Washington Quinn of Thomasville
Two Granddaughters Taylor Pruitt and Mabry Robinson
Two sisters, Martha Ann Homesley of Thomasville and Billie Dell Wells of Lancaster, SC;
And her special friend 'Minnie' the Schnauzer
Celebration of Life service will be 2:00pm, Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Community Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Seagle officiating
Family will receive friends 6:00 until 8:00pm Saturday, January 22 at the church
Interment will be at the Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery with the Releasing of the Doves
Memorials may be made to Community Baptist Church, 823 Dallas Stanley Hwy, Dallas, NC 28034
