Kings Mt.- James Washington 'Jimmy' Richardson, 66 of 410 Clinton Drive., went home to be with the Lord June 9, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center.
He was a native of Gaston County, born October 1, 1944 to the late Silas Washington Richardson and Mary Lee Elizabeth Baldwin Richardson.
Jimmy was a US Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War.
He was a member of Calvary Holiness Church of Kings Mt. Jimmy was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and he loved fishing.
Jimmy retired from textiles.He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Silas Junior Richardson and a brother in Law Marshal Leon 'Tom' Stiles
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Carolyn Fletcher Richardson;
sons Shayne and Steven Richardson both of the home;
granddaughter Victoria Elizabeth Richardson of Kings Mt.
Brothers Jerry Richardson, Donald Richardson and wife Judy both of Bessemer City; Dean Richardson and wife Beulah of Gastonia;
Sister, Mary Francis Stiles of Bessemer City
Sister in law Inez Richardson of Bessemer City; daughter in law, Melissa R Short
