James Daniel Pressley

Belmont – James Daniel “Danny” Pressley, 70, passed away suddenly on June 3, 2022.

He was born in Gaston County on March 8, 1952, to the late Jack Burgess Pressley and Ruth Kelly Pressley. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Jack Jr., Jerry and Mike, sisters, Brenda Villareal and Sherri Lowe.

Danny was an outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, and gardening. He also loved animals of any kind. Danny loved music of all kinds and had collected over 300 albums. Danny was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Left to cherish Danny’s memory is his loving wife of almost 44 years, Kathy Wright Pressley; son, Chase Pressley and wife Ashley, daughter, Erin Justice and husband Dr. Jason Justice; Grandchildren, Karsyn Lowman, Zaylin Pressley and Aubrey Pressley; sisters, Judy Johnson and husband Billy, Darlene Willard and a sister-in- law, Lisa Raby and husband Mike.

The family will receive friends on 1:00 until 2:00 on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Friendship Baptist Church, 5008 South New Hope Road, Belmont, NC 28012 with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Joe Lawing officiating.

Interment will be private.
