He was born in Gaston County, NC on August 5, 1949 to the late Hubert Carrol Morris and Mildred Sue Spence.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years Brenda Gaye Morris; son Justin Morris; daughter Shannon Morris; step-mother Ruth Morris; brothers Danny Morris, Mark Morris and wife Megan; Billy Morris and wife Charity; and sister Carol Bishop and husband Phil; grandchildren Kiley Morris, Mason Nations and Cayden Langston.
Memorial service will be 2:00 pm Saturday January 24, 2015 at Love Memorial Baptist Church, 311 E. Walnut Ave. Gastonia, NC with Rev. Mike Criswell officiating.
Visitation will be one hour before service.
