Kings Mountain- James Ray "J.R." Kirkpatrick, 51, passed away suddenly on January 20, 2017 at his residence.
He was born in Buncombe County to Margaret Ellen Christopher Holcombe and the late John Kirkpatrick.
In addition to father he was preceded in death by a sister. Sharon Kirkpatrick and an infant brother.
Left to cherish his memories includes his mother Margaret C Holcombe of Gastonia;
brother David Christopher of Cherryville and a sister Suzanne Kirkpatrick of Kings Mountain
A Memorial Celebration of life service will be 2:00 pm, Friday, January 27th at Crowder's Mountain Baptist Church, 125 Mayberry Lane, Kings Mountain, NC with Rev. Larry Laws officiating.
