Dallas-James Robert "Jim" Friday, 68 went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 9, 2016 surrounded by his family, in the loving care of hospice at the Robin Johnson House.

He was born in Caldwell County on July 2, 1947 to Colleen Moore Friday and the late Justice Friday.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son Jeffery William Friday and his brother Justice William Friday, Jr.
Jim was a member of the Restoring Hope Foursquare Church, Dallas He was a former assistant Pastor for the Rockwell Foursquare Church. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, traveling and working in his yard.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish his memories include his loving wife of 50 years, Martha Bingham Friday; daughters Cheryl Sherrill (Wayne), Angela Dilling ( Doug); grandchildren, Christopher Friday (Megan), Bethanie Ballard Clark (Kyle), Andra Ballard Thompson (Steve), Jonah and Jacob Sherrill, Kelly Cox, Madison Cox, Jessie and Jordan Dilling; great grandchildren, Justice and Daniel Friday, Macayla and Landon Thompson; his mother Colleen Moore Friday and a niece Crystal Taylor and his beloved fur baby, Lady J.

Family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 12th at Restoring Hope Foursquare Church, 1026 Dallas Stanley Hwy., Dallas

A Celebration of Life service will be held 3:00 pm., on Sunday, June 12th at Restoring Hope Foursquare Church with Reverends Fred Morrison and Cameron Bryson officiating

Interment will be private
