James D. Coblentz

Bessemer City- James Douglas Coblentz, 49, of Bessemer City, passed away April 21st 2009 at Gaston Memoral Hospital. He was a native of Wayne County, Ohio, and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Coblentz was very outgoing, and loved to work in the yard. He was also an avid lover of animals, and was retired from Watkins Trucking. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Jacob and Eva Coblentz. Survivors include his wife, Terry Clawson Coblentz, Father Douglas Coblentz and wife Sue, Sons Heath Coblentz, Miles Coblentz and wife Sonya, Tim Coblentz, David Coblentz and wife Lisa, Craig Wilson and wife Angela, Daughter Christy Wilson, Brother Jerry Coblentz, Grandchildren, Madelynn Gault, Ethan Wilson, Ashleigh Beckner, Olivia Coblentz, Seth Knight, Zachary Coblentz, Martin Coblentz, Autumn Coblentz, and Melody Coblentz. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday April 24th at 5:00 pm at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home. The Family will receive friends one hour prior.
