He was born in York County, SC on August 24, 1961 to Jack A Boggs and the late Cynthia D Parker.
Buzz attended First Baptist Church, York, SC and had worked as Supervisor of Books A Million for many years. He was a member of the York County Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Jack A. Boggs and Isabel B. Boggs of Columbia, South Carolina;
son Jack Charles Boggs of Fort Mill, South Carolina; brother Edward Boggs of Isle of Palms, South Carolina; sisters Ruth Parker Shires and husband Mark of Bessemer City, North Carolina; Cynthia G Parker of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, and Renee Moriarty of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina
and the mother of his son Charlene Boggs
Celebration of Life Service will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, June 6th at the First Baptist Church, 102 South Congress Street, York, South Carolina 29745.
Visitation for family and friends will be following the service
Interment will be at Pisgah Church Cemetery, Easley, South Carolina at a later date
Memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, P.O. Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054 and/or at ones preferred choice in memory of James Benston Boggs.
