Dallas – Jackson Boyd Putnam, 8, passed away on November 8, 2016 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
Jackson was born in Mecklenburg County on December 13, 2007 to Amber Walker Putnam Lange and the late Matthew Boyd Putnam.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Herman Putnam; great grandfathers, Carl Jenkins, Jack Walker and Boyd Boone.
Jackson loved super heroes, music, lights and any type of movement you could always see the joy it brought him! He was a loving precious child who has a twin brother Nikolas who will miss him so much! Jackson enjoyed swimming pools, the beach & sand and trains. Being outside always made him happy.
He was in the 3rd grade at Webb Street School.
Survivors include his mother, Amber Putnam Lange and step-father Paul; twin brother, Nikolas James Putnam; sisters, Carly Putnam and Alexa Lange and step-sisters, Karli Lange and Kaila Lange;
grandparents, Jackie and Gina Walker, Peggy Putnam; Eddie and Betty Lange
great-grandparents, Murriel Jenkins, Margaret Walker and Clara Boone
uncles and aunts, Eric Walker, Joe and Kelly Putnam, Tracie and Scott Anderson
and several cousins
Family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m., Saturday, November 12th at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with A Celebration of life Service to follow at 3:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Withers and Whisenant with Reverend Dick Whitener officiating.
Interment will follow at Westview Gardens
