Gastonia- Jack Roper, 82 of 2017 Willimax Avenue, Gastonia went home to be with the Lord April 21, 2010
He was a native of Buncombe County, NC, born November 7, 1927 to the late Eva Roper
Jack attended North Gaston Church of God, he was retired from Rex Mill, past owner and operator of Jack's Pack-N- Go and Jack & Judy's Florist for many years
He was preceded in death by his mother, his wife of 20 yrs., Judy Ann Payne Roper
Survivors include his daughters: Barbara Roper, Juanita McDonald and husband Michael, Jackie Hagans and husband Ricky all of Gastonia
Grandchildren: Chad Roper, Lori Dominico, Alison Johnson, Tabatha Denton, Joshua Hagans;
Great Grandchildren: Travis, Michael, Savannah, Kaitlyn and Carmine; Brothers: Norman, Willard and Jessie Justice; Sisters: Louvene Wyatt, Doris Broome, Truly Williams and Patricia Justice
Step-Children: Kelly Nguyen and husband Binh, Karen Vaughn and husband Timothy and Kimberly Nguyen and husband Luu
Step-grandchildren: Victoria, Lily, Joshua, Cory, Taylor, Mariah, Miranda, Vance and Eli
Mother of his children: Mozelle Roper of Franklin, NC
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andy Nicholson and Rev. Ron Duncan officiating
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park
Family will receive friends 1 hr prior to the service
