Dallas – Jack Gilbert "Jackie" Earley, Jr., 56 passed away suddenly on March 23, 2018.
He was born in Mecklenburg County on January 10, 1962 to the late Jack Gilbert Earley and Nancy Hornaday Earley. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his father in law, Tommy Self.
Jackie loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed being at the beach and outdoors. Jackie attended Garver Memorial Baptist Church. He retired as a supervisor in apartment maintenance.
Left to cherish his memories includes wife of 17 years, Candace Self Earley; his children, Jay Earley, Randy Earley, Shelby Earley, Dustin Brown and Nathan Miller; grandchildren, Autumn Solis, Makalyn, Audrey, Camden, Jaxon, and Olivia Earley, and Kenleigh Brown; brothers, Kenny and Tony Earley and wife Tina; sister Deborah Bradshaw and husband Jim; mother in law Pam Badger
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 28th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
Celebration of life service will be at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday in the Chapel at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend David Stewart and Reverend Terry Gibson officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
