Iva Lee Pasour Boyd

Dallas- Iva Lee Pasour Boyd, 87 of 300 West Church Street, passed away peacefully August 10, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at her residence.
She was born in Gaston County on December 4, 1926 to the late Kelly Eli and Audrey Leona Carpenter Pasour.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 43 years John Clinton Boyd, who died in 1988, great grandson Ethan Chance and aunt Laura Hayes.

Iva Lee was a member of Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church. She was a volunteer for Gaston Hospice, Meals on Wheels and a Caregiver to many at the apartments. She enjoyed taking care of everybody Iva Lee retired from Mary Jo's
Cloth Store with over 47 years of service.

She is survived by her loving family Norma Jean and Reggie Guffey, Linda and Danny Beck, Sue Whitley, Doris and Rick Smith, and Tammy Doane, Becky Hill and husband, Alan; Eleven grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren;
and too many friends to mention..

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am– 12:00 noon Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church, 210 Long Creek Church Road, Dallas, NC with a Funeral service to follow at 12 noon at Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Shaw and Rev. Matthew Mitchell officiating

Interment will follow at Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with the Releasing of the Doves
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons; Honorary Pallbearers will be Mary Jo's, FIDLIS Sunday School Class and Residents of Dallas High School Apartments.
