Lincolnton- Israel "Lalo" Guerrero, 88 passed away on peacefully October 3, 2015 at his residence with his wonderful loving family at his side, helping to administer to any and all of his needs.
Israel was born in Pharr, Texas on October 29, 1926 to the late Manuel and Petra Avila Guerrero Ravey.
Israel was formerly of Pharr, Texas before moving to North Carolina to live with his family, he lived with his brother and sister in law in Lincolnton for over 16 years. Israel loving living on his brothers ranch, where he often spend a lot of time outside just being with the animals and sometimes taking naps under the tree. He enjoyed playing his guitar, listening to music and being with his family and friends.. Israel was a wonderful person, he loved people and was very thankful for everything, most of all he loved living on the Ranch.
Left to cherish his memories is his brother Manuel Ravey and wife Teresa Saunders Ravey;
his sister Grace Guerrero Fowler; several nieces and nephews; and too many friends to mention.
He never met a stranger….
A private memorial service will be held a later date on the Ranch
