1933-2019
Gastonia- Inez May Tilley, 85, joined her heavenly Father peacefully on May 15, 2019 at the Robin Johnson House.
She was born July 7, 1933 in Gaston County to the late John and Ethel Jenkins May. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Charles Tilley, sons, Michael Parker and Tony Wayne Parker and her 6 siblings.
Inez was a Christian loving mother and grandmother who helped raise many generations. She was a member of Restoring Hope Foursquare Church and enjoyed sharing her faith at the flea market through her flower shop business.
Left to cherish her memories includes her daughters, Star Tucker and Megan Parker; grandchildren, Monica and Brooke Parker; great grandchild, Heather Clemmer.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 19th with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 3:00 p.m., at Restoring Hope Foursquare Church, 1026 Dallas Stanley Hwy., Dallas with Pastor Cameron Bryson and Dr. Jack Fox officiating.
Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Singing Tower IV section with the Releasing of the Doves.
