Inez Long McGee Ramsey

Gastonia- Inez Long McGee Ramsey, 88 of Gastonia passed away suddenly on December 14, 2013 at her residence.
She was a native of York County, SC, born November 19, 1925 to the late S.M. Long and Laura Ellen Senge Long. She was a graduate of Gastonia High School and King's Business College. Inez was a retired Executive assistant and was a member of Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church for many years, now attending Southminster Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband's J.R. McGee and Leonard Ramsey and her beloved son Thomas Ralph McGee; brothers and sisters, Fred, Grady and Henry Long, Maye Long, Leila Long, Ethel Lucas.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan McGee Horton and her husband Dr. Steve. Horton of Gastonia; her grandchildren Mark Horton, Alice Frisbee and husband Kenny;
and several nieces and nephews Ronald Long, Grady Long, Jr., Rick McGee and wife Sandy, Steven Long, Joel Long , Kay Long Harris, Martha Shepherd, Shirley Ballew, Leslie McGee Hicks and Cindy McGee Morrison; and brother-in-law Bob McGee
Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am Wednesday, at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with a Private Graveside service to follow at Hollywood Cemetery
with Reverend William Calvert officiating.
