Dallas- Hubert William Ball, 90, passed away peacefully September 9, 2014 at Robin Johnson House.
Born in Bryson City, NC on September 3, 1924 to the late Louis and Artie Whinfrey Ball.
Preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Frankie Albanese
Mr. Ball was a member of Restoring Hope Foursquare Church in Dallas. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. He took great pride in working with the nursing home ministry C.A.R.E program.
Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Gail; son, Roger Ball of Rock Hill, SC; step-son, Richard Maag and Kim Disbrow of Clover, SC; Daughters, Delorese McDaniel, Linda Stacks of Rock Hill, SC; Brenda Wells of Gastonia and Sal Albanese, husband of late daughter Frankie, of Flemington, New Jersey; brother, Herman Ball of Charlotte, and sister, Helen Kirkland of Stanley; 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Celebration of life service will be held Friday, September 12th at 1:00 pm at Restoring Hope Foursquare Church, 1026 Dallas Stanley Highway, Dallas, NC with Pastor Fred Morrison officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Cherryville Center Cemetery with the releasing of the doves.
Pallbearers: Rick Brown, Charles McMahan, Joey Williams, Mike Hagar, Eddie Cunningham and Mike Bryson.

Military Honors provided by Gaston County Honor Guard.
