Gastonia – Homer Earl Wright, 79, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 28, 2018 at Carolinas Medical Center-Main. He was born in Ellenboro, NC on September 17, 1938 to the late William and Pearley Mae Dalton Wright.
Mr. Wright was an active member of Cramerton Free Will Baptist Church. He loved his church and enjoyed life. He enjoyed fellowshipping with and sharing the gospel. Mr. Wright was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
He loved his family and was a Good Man!
He was a truck driver and later worked in Real Estate with Alan Wilson
at Century 21.
Mr. Wright is survived by his wife of 35 years, Janet Sewell Wright;
his children, Kenneth Earl ( Susan Amnee) Wright, Rhonda (James) Pawlik, Sharlene (Ben) House, Marie Rigney (Mark Pappas), Angie (Rock) Redford, Charles Rick (Trish Edwards); grandchildren, Lauren and Leah Wright, Jacob and Jordan Pawlik, Laramie House, Stephanie Henry, Sarah Cook, Kendall Rigney, Jessica Janika, Billy Wadford, LaShaun Lambert, Chris Rick and Lindsay Redford; Sixteen great grandchildren and sister, Linda Wright
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 at Cramerton Free Will Baptist Church with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Josh Baer officiating.
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park with the Releasing of the Doves.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Wright, Danny Botts, Jamie Pawlik, Kyle Brown, J.T. Hamrick and Ronnie King.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cramerton Free Will Baptist Church, 426 A Woodlawn Avenue, Cramerton, NC 28032 or American Lung Association, www. lung.org.
