Gastonia ' Henry Donald 'Donnie' Crain, 61 of Gastonia went to his Heavenly Home October 11, 2012.
He was a native of Gaston County, born February 6, 1951 to the late William Hicks and Mary Kate Dalton Crain.
Donnie retired from Continental Tire. He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed car shows and especially his grandchildren and his dog Hogan.
Donnie's family was all important to him. He was dearly loved and will always be missed by his family.
Survivors include his son Mark Crain and wife Sabrina of Dallas; a daughter Neely Ann Crain of Dallas; his loving grandchildren, Korey Haney, Savannah Bailey, Sydney Crain and Cameron Crain; brother Billy Crain of Gastonia, sisters Cathy Herring and Carolyn Rogers both of Dallas
Celebration of Life service will be at 4:00pm at First Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. John Gibbs officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00pm
Memorials may be to First Free Will Baptist Church, 2316 Union Road, Gastonia, NC 28054
Honorary pallbearers will be his Sunday School Class.
