Helen R. Withers

Dallas- Helen Rudisill Withers, 86, 508 West Trade St. went home to be with the Lord January 22, 2010 surrounded by her family. She was loved dearly by her husband of 69 yrs., all her children and grandchildren
She was a native of Gaston County, born October 17, 1923 to the late Charlie A. and Mae Hoyle Rudisill. Helen was a graduate of Dallas High School, co-owner along with her husband Earl of Withers Food Mart in Dallas for over 20 yrs.
She was a member of Community Baptist Church where she was also the church secretary for many years.
She retired from Wix Corp. of Gastonia, NC
Survivors include her husband of 69 yrs., Earl H. Withers;
Her children: Kaye W. and Bill Clemmons,
Lana W. and Charlie Jones, Earl Hoyle Withers, Jr.,
Marcia W Hovis, Gary L. and Rhonda Withers all of Dallas;
20 Grandchildren and 27 Great Grandchildren
Sisters: Sara R. Michael, Joanne R Lewis and
Mary Charles R Brown, all of Dallas, NC
Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Community Baptist Church, 823 Dallas-Stanley Hwy, Dallas,
Funeral service will be 3:00 pm, Monday, January 25, 2010 at Community Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Barbee and Rev. Matt Seagle officiating
Interment will follow at Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, Dallas
