Gastonia – Helen Elmore Isenhour, 76 of 325 Lynn Street went home to be with the Lord at CaroMont Regional Medical Center on August 16, 2013.
She was a native of Belmont, born June 1, 1937 to the late William Thomas and Nellie Arizona Shires Elmore. She was retired from textiles.
Survivors include her children, David Isenhour of Shelby, Billy Isenhour and wife Pam of Gastonia; Jimmy Isenhour and wife Angela of Grover; Michael Isenhour and wife Kelly of Gastonia; Sheila Crabtree of Grover; Robin Bass and husband Gary of Vale; brother Lawrence Elmore of Mt. Holly; sister Farrie Holt of Alexis; 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren
A Family visitation will be held from 2:00 until 3:00pm Wednesday August 21 prior to the 3:00pm Funeral service at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Glen Mecum officiating
Burial will follow at Independent Baptist Tabernacle Church cemetery, Dallas
