Harper's journey began at First Wesleyan School as she embarked on her path of education. Described as a sweet child with a passion for painting, drawing, and shopping, Harper's creativity knew no bounds. Her fondness for cartwheels and flowers added a whimsical touch to her vibrant personality.
From a young age, Harper cherished her time with family and friends, creating unforgettable memories filled with laughter and joy. She was known for her loving nature and the kindness she showed to everyone around her.
In the hearts of those who knew her, Harper leaves behind a legacy of warmth and happiness. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bill Mintz. Harper is survived by her devoted parents, Rondel and Allyson Stephenson Guffey; her siblings, Kayleigh, Aiden, Lillian, and Aurick; her grandparents Alma Mintz, Jean and Ron Guffey; along with aunts and uncles Bonnie and Matthew Phillips, David and Julie Medlin, Leigh and David Wilhelm; numerous cousins; as well as many dear friends.
Harper's love for life and unwavering kindness will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing her. May her memory live on in the hearts of those who loved her dearly.
The family will have a private family viewing on Saturday, before her Celebration of Life service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 1 at Parkwood Baptist Church, 1729 East Garrison Blvd, Gastonia, NC.
Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery "A Quiet Place" for family only. Pallbearers will be Tracy Philbeck, David Medlin, Aiden Guffey and Aurick Guffey.
