Gastonia- Gwendolyn "Gwen" Rose Justus, 88, of Gastonia, died March 10, 2015 at Peak Resources
She was born in Haywood County, daughter of the late Ralston Lawrence Justus and Edith Young Justus.
Gwen was a retired Western Union telegraph operator. She was a member of West Avenue Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Leon Justus, and a sister, Gloria J. Lane.
Gwen is survived by sisters, Norma Jean J. Sosebee of Bessemer City, Marian J. Clemmer of Gastonia and sister and brother-in-law, Lana J. and David Kirby of Gastonia, niece and husband, Donna and Gene Troutman of Rock Hill, SC;
many nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.
Memorial service will be Sunday, 2:00 p.m., at West Avenue Presbyterian Church with Reverend David Lytle officiating.
