Gastonia – Guynita Ramsey Lopp, 72 joined our heavenly Father peacefully on October 16, 2016 at the Brian Center with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Cherokee County, SC on February 7, 1944 to the late Oscar Lee and Eunice Peeler Ramsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Harvey Lopp, Sr.
Survivors include her son Christopher Lopp of Charlotte; her daughters Kimberly Bleckler and Sherry Poteat of Gastonia, Crystal Lopp of Clover, SC and Gina Lopp of Hickory;
Brothes, Clyde Ramsey of DeCateur, GA and Eugene Ramsey of Gaffney, SC
Sisters, Frances Dobbins of Gaffney, SC, Betty Ammons of Dobbinsville, NC, Margaret Fowler of Cowpen, SC, and Mamie Ruffin of Dallas, NC; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Special thanks to her granddaughter Brittney Bradley for her loving care during our mothers declining health.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, October 22nd at 1:00 p.m., New Covenant Church, 531 Efird Street, Gastonia, NC 28054 with Dr. John C. Pelonero officiating.
The family will receive following the service at the daughter Crystal's 384 Lone Tree Lane, Clover, SC
