Grady Lee Roberts

Grady Lee Roberts, 73, passed away peacefully at his residence on October 26th, 2024 with his loving family by his side. 

He was born in Wadesboro, North Carolina on July 16, 1951 to the late Joe Thomas Roberts and Lois Selma Owens Roberts. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his 8 brothers and sisters, Charles Dude, William Joe, Betty, Pauline, Frances, Linda, and Margaret; three nephews, Tyler Thrift, Charles Thrift Jr, and Billy Laws. 

Grady loved his family and was a faithful companion for many years to his beloved Deborah Hensley. He made many happy memories with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will cherish them forever. 

 Grady was an avid NASCAR follower, being a devout fan of Dale Earnhardt and in later years, Dale Earnhardt Jr. A lover of all things Pink Floyd, spent much of his time listening to Pink Floyd records and watching their recorded concerts. He shared these passions with all who knew him. 

He is survived by his beloved family, Companion and Caregiver Deborah Hensley, his daughter Kirri Roberts, two great-nephews, Michael McCutcheon, Jon-Matthew(Heather) McCutcheon, special niece Debra(David) H McCutcheon; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, granddaughters Courtney Mickey and Ashley Collins; two great granddaughters, and two great grandsons. 

Services will be held at a later date.
