She was a native Gaston County, born January 17, 1929
To the late Frank and Ganier Brooks Gunter
Mrs. Lewis was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul Lewis; brothers, Clyde, Connie and James Gunter; sisters, Ethel Sahms, Verdella Costner and Estella Johnston
Survivors include her sons, Paul Randall Lewis and wife Patricia;
Michael ' Mickey' Lewis and wife Miriam all of Gastonia;
Five Grandchildren, Dawn & Jimmy Propst, Shawn Lewis, Shane and Brandi Lewis, Greg and Karen Lewis, and Shana Lewis Revels
Eight Great Grandchildren, Justin and, Hailey Lewis, Abby, Caleb, and Carrie Propst, Kylie Revels, Abby, Drew and Wes Lewis
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Mott officiating
The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 Friday, December 10 at the funeral home
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Dogwood section with the Releasing of the Doves
