Gastonia- Glenn Madison Head, 81, passed away February 24, 2010 at Brian Center.
He was the son of the late Dillard Madison and Mattie Diana Tate Head. He was a veteran of the Korean War, Member of Lowell-Smyre United Methodist Church and retired from Hardee's as a general manager.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Aileen Turner Head. Brothers and Sisters: Perno Dewey Head, Joe Head, Ray Thomas Head, Augusta Sherer and Grace Stepp.
Survivors include his children: Alan Head and wife Cindy, Glenn 'Buddy' Head and wife Judy, Pamela Jane Helms and husband Gary, Rita Hall and husband Daryl; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with the Rev. Eric Reece officiating, the family will receive friends 1 hr prior. Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park with Military Honors. Pallbearers will be Robert Helms, Christian Helms, Arthur Morton, Matt Costner, Adam Hall, Daryl Hall Jr.
