Gastonia – Glenn "Dan" Mitchell Flowers, 63 passed away on January 4, 2018 at Testa Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Hartsville, SC on February 10, 1954. Dan enjoyed horses, fishing, and working . He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church and was very active. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memories includes his loving wife of 35 years, Kimberly Huffstetler Flowers; son, Travis Glenn Flowers and two wonderful granddaughters, Paisley Rose Flowers and Eden Annalise Flowers; his mother and stepfather, Melvie McManus Wallace and Reverend Bobby Wallace, and the late Don McManus; sister Wanda Steen Jackson.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 7th from 2:00 until 3:00 prior to the Celebration of Life Service at 3:00 p.m., Sunday at the First Free Will Baptist Church with Reverend Darin Gibbs, Reverend Ray Goodson and Reverend Bobby Wallace officiating.
Interment will follow at Sandy Plains Baptist Church Cemetery with releasing of the doves.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Free Will Baptist Church, Least of These, 2316 Union Road, Gastonia, NC 28054
