Iron Station-Gerald David "Sonny" Chapman, 77 passed away peacefully July 14, 2014 at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House.
He was a native of Gaston County, born May 24, 1937 to the late Brian and Viola Davis Chapman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Joyce Edison and Helen Hall
Survivors are his wife of 15 years, Bonnie Guffie Chapman;
his children Sonya Parker, David Chapman and Dorothy Corn; grandchildren Austin, Megan and Jenna Chapman;
Brother Mickey Chapman
A visitation will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 am with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 16th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
Burial will be Private.
