Mr. George Edward Long, 51, of Gastonia died July 5, 2009 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late Ruth Cummins Long.
Mr. Long was a self employed construction worker.
Preceded in death by his wife Nancy Louise McLain Long
Survivors include his sons: Robert Michael Long and wife Melissa Swanson Long of Gastonia; Shane Edward Long of Charlotte
Grandchildren: Gavin Andrew Long and Malea Elyse Long
