Geneva C. Blankenship

Dallas- Geneva Cacy Blankenship, 93, passed away peacefully October 18, 2010. She was a native of Adairs Run, (Mercer County) WVA. born December 27, 1916 to the late George Leonard and Nora Luther Cacy.
Geneva was employed by the Celanese Corporation where she served over 36 years. She attended Peterstown United Methodist Church, was a member of her circle and enjoyed making Apple Butter. In her later years, she moved to Princeton West Virginia (Eads Mill Road) and was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church.
Geneva was always called upon to make her famous yeast rolls, and was happy cooking for someone else all the time.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jeff Blankenship,
sisters and brothers-in-law Barbara and Mason Hill,
sister, Hazel Boyd Casey, half 'brother Clyde Casey and wife Ida.

Survivors include a neice Sarah Ellen Hamm and Husband Donald of Dallas, NC, with whom she made her home with.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday at Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg VA.( 177 Birchlawn Circle, Pearisburg, VA 24134)
with Rev. Scott Mayberry officiating
The family will receive friends 1:30 until 2:00 at the graveside
