Gastonia – Gene Huffstetler Falls, 82 passed away on August 8, 2017 at Robin Johnson House.
Gene was born March 17, 1935 in Gastonia, NC to the late Oscar Alexander and Aline Huffstetler Falls.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Keith Falls and grandson, Scott Parker.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Rachel Ballard Falls; daughter, Jean Parker (Allen); sons, Randy Falls, Barry Wayne Falls (Twee); daughter-in-law, Linda Falls; grandchildren, Jaime Parker, Sylvia Joyce, Christie Hope, April Falls, Elizabeth Burrell, Daniel Falls and Barry Falls; great-grandchildren; Nathan, Abigail, Bryan, Rachel Anne, Isaac and Eli.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 10th at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 11th at Parkwood Baptist Church, 1729 East Garrison Boulevard, Gastonia with Reverend David Belle Isle and Reverend Vernon Carver officiating.
Interment will follow at Pisgah ARP Church Cemetery, 3538 Linwood Road, Gastonia, North Carolina.
