Gayle Fry Rhea, 64, of Charlotte NC passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on February 13, 2016 at Levine-Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, North Carolina.

She was born in Madison County, Jackson, Tennessee the daughter of the late Raymond and Hope Fry.

In addition to her parents, her beloved husband, Ronald Warren Rhea, precedes her in death. She graduated from Southside High School in Jackson, Tennessee. She attended Lambuth College.

She recently retired from 42 years as a flight attendant for United Airlines where her travels took her to residences in Boston, San Diego, Los Angeles and Long Beach, California as well as New Jersey and North Carolina.

Gayle loved traveling where her work and travels took her to many places across the globe including Japan, Europe, Asia, New Zealand, Asia, and South America; as well as across the continental United States.

Gayle is survived by her two sons, Matthew Rhea and Taylor Rhea, both of Charlotte, NC; two grandchildren, Jaxson Rhea of Gastonia and Reagan Rhea of Waxhaw; a sister, Carolyn Dash and her twin brother Raymond (Buddy) Fry of Jackson, Tennessee.

She is also survived by her extensive and loving family and friends.

A memorial service will be 4:00 pm, Sunday, February 14th at Evergreen A Quiet Place Mausoleum, Belmont
