Gary Ray MacMillan, 69 passed away suddenly April 6, 2015.
He was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 7, 1945 to the late Ruth Virginia Hanley and Charles Hall MacMillan, Jr.
Gary was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. He was Regular US Army and a Reservist serving as a Technical Sergeant in the 70th Division. Gary attended Wayne State University and Detroit College of Art and Design where he studied photography. He was a licensed Balloon Pilot, avid birdwatcher and experienced Fly Fisherman. He was employed for many years by WS Tyler before starting his own business, Technical Support Group, Inc. His business career took him as far away as Mexico, Chile and Venezuela.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, LeeAnn Ficke MacMillan, his brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth Dale and Diane MacMillan of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Norman and Patricia Ficke of Gainesville, GA; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lynn and Dr. Victor Wittkowski of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan; mother-in-law, Frances Ficke and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass will be Friday, April 10, 2015 at 12 noon, St. Michael's Catholic Church with Reverend Father Matthew Buettner officiating.
Interment will be private

Gary was a beloved husband, brother, uncle and best friend to stray cats and dogs. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
