Charlotte- Gary Lee Brotherton, 46 passed away unexpectedly on January 31, 2017 in Tampa Florida.
He was born in Mecklenburg County on February 16, 1970 to the late Doris Faye Brotherton.
Left to cherish his memories includes special Aunt and Uncle Shirley B. Skidmore and Jimmy Skidmore of Charlotte, NC; cousins, Tim Skidmore and wife Angie of Gastonia; Randy, Sandi and Christi Skidmore of Charlotte, NC; Haley and Mallory Skidmore of Gastonia; special friends Keith Vance and Mike Tadlock
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Heath and Jessie Brotherton.
Family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., prior to the 1:00 p.m. service.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at GloryLand Baptist Church, 3001 Gloryland Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28273 with Pastor Sammy Case officiating. Interment will be private.
