Gastonia – Gail Jeanette Nichols West, 84 passed away May 9, 2017 at BelAire Health Care Gastonia.
She was born in Gaston County on November 18, 1932 to the late George and Georgie Moss Nichols. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband William L. West Jr., brother Arnold Nichols, sister's Betty Nichols Gordon and Patsy Nichols Honeycutt.
She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Gail was an 8 year survivor of Breast Cancer, an avid Ball room dancer and enjoyed dancing with her late husband.
Survivors include daughter Melanie West Bradbury and husband Tom; sister Anita Nichols; grandchildren Sgt. 1st Class Thomas W. Bradbury and wife April and C.J. Bradbury Pridgen and husband Cody; great grandchildren Michael William, Bailey Alexis and Harrison Malone (Mr. Bright Eyes).
Service and burial will be private.
