Gastonia – Gail Rankin Trado, 78, entered into Heaven on Monday, December 18, 2017 at her home with her loving family by her side. Gail was born in Lowell and was the daughter of the late Leonard E. Rankin, Sr. and Mary Riley Rankin.

Gail was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister and grandmother and will be dearly missed by everyone.

Gail was Vice-President and co-owner of Trade-Way Equipment with her loving husband Richard. She was a member of Lowell Church of God and a graduate of Lowell High School.

The family sends their love and thanks to everyone at Senior TLC for the care and love shown to Gail.

Gail is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Richard Trado; two daughters, Darlene Brown Smith, Elizabeth Raffel Biggerstaff (Brian) of Gastonia; one son, Bobby Perry Brown, Jr. of Lowell; step-son, Rick Trado (Amy) of Raleigh; step-daughter, Cathy Fraleigh (John) of Wake Forest; one brother, Larry Rankin (Betty) of Chickamauga, Georgia; nine grandchildren; Dustin Smith (Jennie); Allyson Smith (Tavin); Jacob Cooper; Zachary Cooper; Claire Biggerstaff; Katie Brown; Jeremy Walker (Lindsay); Ethan Fraleigh; Lilly Fraleigh and Adelyn Trado.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Lowell Church of God, 804 West First Street, Lowell with a Celebration of Life Service to be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday at Lowell Church of God with Rev. Joe Heffner and Rev. Jack Ford officiating with the Releasing of the Doves.

Inurnment will follow at Edgewood Cemetery, Lowell.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Dean Rankin, L. E. Rankin, Jr., Buddie Rankin; sister, Nell Denton.
