Gastonia – Furman Nathaniel Bright, 77 passed away December 10, 2013 at his residence.
He was a native of Gaston County, born April 9, 1936 to the late Ernest F. and Beatrice Moss Bright.
He was a faithful member of Eighth Street Church of God, was a security guard for Parkdale Mills and a former employee of CDA Mill. He was an avid hunter and loved watching hunting shows on TV.
He was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Paul Bright and Franklin Bright and sister Frances B. Powell.
Survivors include his brothers Dannie Bright and Charles Bright and wife Kay, and sister in law Naomi Bright
Visitation will be one hour before service at the funeral home.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm Friday December 13, 2013 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Pendleton and Rev. Sam Barnette.
Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park.
