Dallas – Fred A. Hill, 73, passed peacefully surrounded by family on April 7, 2017.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cyrus Alfred and Etta Mae Justice Hill. Two brothers, William Robert Hill and Claude Wellington Hill.
Fred worked 54 years in the automotive industry. Fred was of the Christian Faith and was a member of Community Pentecostal Center; where he was also a greeter and usher.
He loved serving the homeless through his church. His greatest joy in life was his family.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Smith Hill; three daughters, Julie Noonan and Tom; Michele H. Stewart and Frank, Megan H. Turney and Matthew, two stepdaughters, Sandra Bryant and Shaunna Thomas; one stepson, Jamie Hutchins and Wendy;
11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., Monday, April 10th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service at 3:00 p.m. will follow in the chapel with Pastor Eddie McGinnis, Reverend Billy Hill and Chris Rushing officiating; with releasing of the doves to follow.
