Dallas – Frank Parker, 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Robin Johnson House. He was born in Huntsville, AL and was the son of the late Joe and Margaret Herron Parker. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Gin Deal and brothers, Ed and Noble Parker.
Frank was a member of Rankin Lake Baptist Church. He enjoyed working with Meals on Wheels, watching old black and white movies and being outside in his yard. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.
Frank worked many years as an tool inspector with Danaher.
Left to cherish his memories is his wife of 65 years, Mary Louise Gaither Parker; his daughter Teresa Parker Williams, grandchildren, Cliff (Casey) Williams and Kristen Williams; great grandchildren, Jackson Williams, Ashe and Draven Croon; brother, Lloyd (Evelyn) Parker.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 12th prior to the service at Rankin Lake Baptist Church, 2705 Gastonia Dallas Hwy., Dallas, NC 28034 with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Loftis officiating. Interment will be private.
