Kannapolis- Francisca Rentas, 85 of Kannapolis passed away peacefully December 5, 2013 at her residence.
She was a native of Puerto Rico, born September 19, 1928 to the late Filomeno Vazquez and Rosa Castellano.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Luciano Franco-Custodio and nine brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her Her Children,Lydia Cruz Rentas, Luis A Rentas, Martha T Gardner, Rosa M Rentas, Dr. Hilario Rentas,Iris Guilbe, Henry Rentas
Hector Franco; Sister Milagros Medina; Brothers Henry Vazquez and Heckle Vazquez
A number of grandchildren and great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luciano Custodio Franco, her parents, Filomeno Vazquez and Rosa Castellano and
a daughter Iris Guilbe, nine brothers and sisters
The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:30 am Monday, December 9, 2013 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
Mass Service will be at 11:00 am Monday, at Queen of the Apostles with Father Christopher Kirchgessner officiating
Interment will be at a later date in Puerto Rico
The family is being cared for by Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 2916 Union Road, Gastonia, NC 704-864-5144
