Francis "Frank" Brice Baumgardner

Francis Brice "Frank" Baumgardner, 88, passed away at his residence in Dallas, NC on December 27, 2024.  

He was born in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania on August 2, 1936 to the late Franklin Caldwell Baumgardner and Edna Mae Alleman Bondowski. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Adam Brice Baumgardner; his step- children, Cherly Bryson Friday and Charles Bryson, Jr. and his sister, Marietta Fleeger.  

Frank was a crafty man who enjoyed woodworking, building furniture, and really could build anything. He was a funny and loving family man. Frank loved his family above all else, especially his grandchildren. He leaves many happy memories to be cherished by all who knew and loved him.  

He is survived by his devoted wife of 31 years, Peggy Savage Baumgardner; children, Phyllis Ann Maderious and Brian Keith Baumgardner; brothers, Ronald Duell and Phillip Baumgardner; grandchildren, Michael Friday (Kendra), Carol Ann Friday, and Edward Friday (Kim); and five great grandchildren.  

Family and friends will gather for visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Shea Berbaum officiating.
