She was born in Managua, Nicaragua on January 1, 1980, daughter of Rosa Obando and Rafael Martinez. She was preceded in death by her son, Angel Martinez.
Survivors include her husband, Procoro Cuatzingua; sons, Jonny Martinez and Michael Martinez; daughters, Francia Martinez and Paris Martinez; grandson, Major Martinez; her parents, Rosa Obando and Rafael Martinez; her sisters, Monica Benish, Fabiola Martinez and Yuisell Martinez de Lopez; her brothers, Rafael Martinez, Franciso Martinez and Angel Martinez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 30th at Armstrong Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be 1:00 – 1:45 p.m., Saturday, January 30th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home, 2316 Union Road, Gastonia, NC 28054.
Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, if you feel the need to stay home, a card or phone call to the family will be appreciated.
