Dallas-Frances Pollard Pinion, 64 of Dallas passed away peacefully Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the Robin Johnson House with her loving daughter by her side.
Frances was a native of Wake County, born June 15, 1949 to the late Furman and Mary Dean Pollard. Frances was in local government for 28 years, serving as the Director of the Board of Elections for many years. She attended ECU and was North Carolina Board of Elections certified, National Board of Election certified from Auburn, and was a member of Cherryville Church of God.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Melanie Pinion and her grand dog, Carmel
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00pm Sunday, February 16th, 2014 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life service will follow at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 16th, 2014 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Rev. Don Chappell officiating
Interment will be at Montlawn Memorial Park at a later date
In lieu of flowers Frances requested memorials to her church, Cherryville Church of God, 810 East Main Street, Cherryville, NC28021
