Gastonia – Nellie Frances Beaty, 88, entered into her Heavenly Home on October 13, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at the Robin Johnson House

She was born in Gaston County on February 2, 1927 to the late Jennie Hill and Bert Beaty

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, David and George Neal Beaty

Frances was loving and caring lady. She loved spending time and taking care of her family for her entire life!
Frances was a member of Sandy Plains Baptist Church where she was very active for many years with the youth Sunday school programs. She retired from teaching after many years of service in education. Frances always held a special place in her heart for children in her career and through her church.

Survivors include her brother, Harvey Beaty, several nieces and nephew and many wonderful friends.

A Celebration of life service will be held at 3:00pm, Thursday at Sandy Plains Baptist Church with Pastor Richard Brown, Pastor Stephen Hensley and Reverend A.A. Bailey officiating

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm prior to the service

Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery with the releasing of the doves

Pallbearers will be Barth Hoffman, Tommy Hoffman, Brett Digh, Adam Clemmons, Bobby Beaty, Tim Beaty and Bill Nolen
