1941-2017
Gastonia – Mary Frances "Fran" Caskey Flannery, 75, passed away on January 29, 2017 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Lancaster, South Carolina to the late Alfred and Ila Faye Roberts Caskey.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Elsie Gillespie and Dot Blalock and a brother Bill Caskey.
Fran was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed! She enjoyed cooking, baking and traveling. She loved going to Shogun's to eat, but most of all she loved her fur babies Dolly and Max.
Left to cherish her memories includes her children, Teresa Conner (Chuck) and Chad Jones; her grandchildren Brittany Jacobs ( Daniel), Kasey Conner and C.J. Jones; great grandchildren, Rylee and Logan Jacobs.
A Celebration of Life service will be 6:00pm, Wednesday, February 1st at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 pm prior to the service. Interment will be private.
