Belmont – Fay Nell McCarn, passed away peacefully October 30, 2014 at Belaire Health Care Center surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Gaston County, NC to the late Glenn and Marietta McCarn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Johnny McCarn and sisters, Dot, Wilma and Barbara McCarn
Fay was a lifelong member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Belmont. She retired after many years of dedicated service from American Efird in Mt. Holly. Fay was a treasure to all who knew her and she will be greatly missed. She cherished her Great Niece, Brittany and her beloved dog Daisy
Survivors include Brittany McCarn, of Asheville, NC; Carol McCarn of Belmont, NC; brothers, Dean and wife MaryJo McCarn of Belmont; Wayne and Annette McCarn of Mt. Holly and Jack McCarn of Stanley; and her beloved dog Daisy
Celebration of Life Service will be Sunday, November 2nd at 4 pm at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 120 Belmont-Mt. Holly Road, Belmont, NC with Reverend Angela Hollar officiating. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 201 Belmont-Mt. Holly Road, Belmont, NC 28012.
