Gastonia- Evia Mae Watts Carr, 82 passed away peacefully January 25, 2015 at Meadowood Nursing Center.
She was born in Macon County, NC on January 25, 1933 to the late William C and Lucy Hodgin Watts
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Murphy Carr, son Alvin Carr,
and 5 brothers Troy, R.L., Olen, Junior, and Ted Wayne
Survivors include her son, Billy Carr, sister, Ann Watts, and Six Grandchildren, Shane, Justin, Jonathan, Tiffany, Jennifer and Jackie
Graveside service will be Wednesday, January 28th at 2:00pm at Armstrong Cemetery
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 pm prior to the service at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home
Pallbearers will be Richard Cowart, Jerry Thrower, Darrell Allridge, Marty Watts and Jamie Franckewitz.
