He was born in Gaston County on June 10, 1957 to Rachel Melton Pendleton and the late Everette O'Neil Pendleton, Sr.
Neil was a wonderful son and brother who will be greatly missed by all of his family.
Survivors include his mother, Rachel Melton Pendleton, his son, Adam McGee; sisters, Tammie and Susan Teague; Brenda Pendleton; 9 nieces and nephews; 13 great-nieces and nephews and 2 great-great nieces
