Evelyn Wooten

<P>GASTONIA - Evelyn B. "Jodie" Wooten, 85 of Gaston Place went home to be with the Lord May 31, 2009. </P> <P>She was the daughter of the late John and Lessie Ballard of Mount Holly. </P> <P>She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie Hooper, Mary Frances and Jarvis Brooks, Sheila and Steve Barber; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. </P> <P>In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her four sisters, and three brothers. </P> <P>Burial will be private. </P> <P>In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, P.O.
